Will my makeup last all day?
With the exceptional use of professional and luxury brands your makeup is guaranteed to last all day and night! We have ensured to have makeup that is water and tear proof yet still providing a light, natural and flawless look.
Do you have experience in working with my skin type?
Our team has hundreds years of combined experience in the makeup and bridal industry. While doing so we are constantly presented with various skin tones and conditions. No matter what is your skin color dark, olive or oriental, or if you have skin concerns such as scars, redness, uneven skin tone or acne we will be able to help you look perfect at your wedding.
How long does a makeup application or hairstyling take?
We ask that you please allow 2 to 4 hours to ensure perfect makeup application, hair styling, and dressing services. Our focus is quality of your look. To avoid timing issues please allow some additional time not to be in rush, to take photographs and get to your ceremony on time. Our coordinator will work with you prior to the event to settle on detailed wedding day services schedule so all in your bridal party will know when they are required to arrive and when they will be ready by.
Are you mobile?
Yes, we are team of mobile artists serving Metro Vancouver and Calgary areas. There is no travel fee to get our artists to your location within these regions. However in exceptional situations if you are out of town and don’t have hotel or any other place you are comfortable having our artist to come and do your services we can arrange your appointment in one of our locations as well.
Do you travel out of Vancouver/Calgary?
Yes we do travel. There is travel fee of $0.8/km (for round trip to location) to be applied to your invoice in case our team needs to travel out of Metro Vancouver or Calgary city limits. In case travel is more then 300 km from our office location we also require overnight accommodation to be paid by customer.
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes. We have had clients fly us all over Europe, North America and the Caribbean for destination weddings. Additional travel/accommodation costs would be covered by the customer. Contact us for more details.
Do you provide trial sessions and consultations?
Consultations are free. We will sit and meet with you, go over your outfits, jewelry, and pictures of hair and makeup ideas so we are on the same page the day of.
We also recommend booking a trial session for additional fee. At the trial we will apply complete makeup and hairstyles of your choice, we take notes and before/after pictures so the look can be recreated on your wedding day. Having your trial session will give you comfort of knowing how exactly you will look on your wedding day.
Typically we recommend you to book your trial couple of month before the wedding day when you already have your outfit and accessories ready. However It is possible to book your trial even before making a commitment with us (signing the contract and paying a deposit), normal makeup & hairstyle rate will apply. We want your experience with us to be as smooth and comfortable as possible.
How do I book your team for my wedding?
Please contact us to make arrangements to book us for your event. One of our representatives will be in touch with you shortly to go over a contract, and provide you with a receipt. We do require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due 2 business days prior to your event. Because of high demand to our team (especially at the peak of a season) its very common for our brides to book us up to 2 years in advance. We will arrange your consultation meeting and (if you wish) your trial session once you have purchased your outfits and selected your jewelry. If you book our team for your pre-wedding events we will chat with you to make sure that you have completely different looks for your events. Our team will travel to your location on a day of your wedding and for your trial session.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
- Have your morning preparations (shower etc.) done before our arrival,
- Have your dried (washed the night before is fine) with no products,
- (For Indian brides) Be wearing your wedding outfit top upon our arrival,
- Prepare an area with good natural lighting for your and your bridal party makeup application, there should be enough space to work with 2-3 customers at the same time. Our team will bring all the necessary tools however in some cases we will ask you to provide few additional seats for hairstyling,
- Have all your jewelry and accessories laid out nearby for access after your hair and makeup is completed
Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are generally non-refundable. However we do understand that emergency situations may happen where a wedding date may change or be cancelled. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to do changes and we will evaluate your case.
Do I need to pay tips?
Even though it is absolutely not mandatory our artist work hard doing your perfect look and would appreciate some gratitude from you.
